Staci’s Story
“I still think about it every day.”
A little over a year after her breast cancer diagnosis, Wine Away founder Staci shares one of the most difficult and rarely discussed parts of cancer: the waiting. Waiting for appointments, tests, results, surgery and pathology taught her patience in a way she never expected.
She also speaks honestly about the uncertainty that can remain after treatment ends, the husband, faith, friends and family that carried her through, and why hearing another woman’s story can make us feel a little less alone.
