Staci Wanichek on Being a Female Entrepreneur

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we asked our founder and CEO, Staci Wanichek, a few questions about being a female entrepreneur and proud business owner. Here’s what she had to say:

Q: What’s the best part about being your own boss?

A: The best part of being my own boss is having the flexibility to create my own schedule. Some days require longer hours and extra hustle, while other days allow me to leave work early to be there for my kids’ activities and important family moments. That balance is something I never take for granted.

Q: What drives you?

A: Pure determination drives me. I love a challenge and enjoy setting goals and finding ways to achieve them. In business, my go-to phrase has always been, “No just means you have to find another way to get to yes.”

My family also motivates me every day. They’ve always been my biggest cheerleaders, and I want to show them that with hard work, passion, and persistence, you really can build something meaningful.

Q: Do you have any advice for future female business owners?

A: Don’t be afraid to ask questions and seek guidance from others. I learned so much by simply being willing to ask for help and listen to people with experience.

It’s also important to truly believe in your product and be prepared to put in the time and work to grow your business. Building something from the ground up isn’t always easy, but if you stay passionate and determined, it can be incredibly rewarding. Ultimately, your success depends on you.
